ストーリー
男は画家。大震災を機に、画題を見失ってしまった。
女は女優。心から愛した同性の恋人と死に別れたばかり。
二人は、飛行機で偶然隣りあわせになり、惹かれあい、N.Y.の彼女の部屋で一緒に暮らし始める。
二重国籍で同性愛者の彼女と、絵を描くこと以外に世界とつながる方法のなかった彼は、
相手に向き合い、自分と向き合っていく。パレットの上で混じりあう絵の具のように、
人生が響き合い、新しい色が生まれていく。
でも、やがて観光ビザの決めた90 日の猶予が近づいてきて……。
観劇日記
たった二人で紡ぎ出す舞台、シンプルなのに、とても見応えありました。
観客の想像力を刺激するセリフ、演技、歌でNYの情景や、心の動き、その奥にあるものまでもが見える、演出、脚本でした！
二人の俳優の身体から発せられる、パワーやエネルギー、その圧力に魅せられました！
対面式の舞台という演出も、対峙する二人、作品と観客との対峙、いろんな視点から舞台を見ることができる、多面的で効果的でした。また、向かいの席に座る観客の表情が見えるというのも新鮮でした。
出会いは日常の中にあるのだけれど、それをどういう未来へ繋げたいかは自分の行動次第。
二人の奇跡の出会いがどういう未来に繋がるのかを、ドキドキしながら見守る、そのストーリーを楽しめる時間でした。
相手に向き合うことで自分に向き合い、相手を想い、自分を見つめる。そういう心の動きを感じ取ることができる、演出、演技に圧倒されました。
舞台を彩るキャンバスのColorが増えていく、増えるという意味と色の意味と
曲も歌詞もリズムも心打つナンバーで、曲が俳優の魅力を高め、演技と歌唱力がその曲の魅力を高め合っていました。
石丸さち子さんと伊藤靖浩さんのタッグの日本製のミュージカルに未来を感じました。
